If you hate the gym but want to get fit, lose some weight and tone your wobbles then Scorpion is for you.
Combining strength and conditioning and nutrition programs we offer sessions for all ages and abilities in individual personal training sessions, small group training sessions (2-4 persons) or group sessions (max 12) six days a week.
If you want to have fun while getting fit then join the Scorpion family. Be prepared to get sweaty but pain is not our aim with all workouts scaled to your ability, you will be amazed at what you can achieve.
When we say family we mean family, everyone at our gym supports one another, no one does it alone. Our clients range from teenagers (16 youngest) to senior citizens (60+) with the whole range in between.
There are those that are just looking to keep fit and have fun, some looking to lose some serious weight and some serious athletes (who also like to have fun). We have also welcomed three new babies to the Scorpion family this year with their mum’s working out right up until their due date (with this being more of a worry for their workout buddies who really didn’t want to experience their labour).
To preserve our family harmony please know that we don’t accept ego’s and any ego that presents itself is asked to leave. We are a very happy family being a big sweaty mess that support each other.
When you walk in through the door and see people lifting what look like massive weights you might think ‘omg that’s not for me’ but look closer, we also have broomsticks and don’t forget everyone you see before you started off with a broomstick.
We believe in teaching technique, if you know how to lift then you can’t and won’t hurt yourself when trying to lift weights and that goes for all of our workouts.
We don’t really believe in treadmills when you have the great outdoors and can see where you have been or other ‘mainstream’ gym equipment, with our only concession being rowers for those that can’t run due to injury, ability or even aversion (and believe me rowing is harder).
We believe that variety is the spice of life so you will find that every time you come your workout will be different.
We work with each of our clients to check out their goals and work with them to achieve them but remember only you can make the change and we are here to support you to be the best you can be.
